Great magazine, and metal detecting is a great hobby if you have never been involved in it. Most folks are amazed at what you can dig out of the ground in the way of history. Here are a few civil war bullets dug on property adjoining a battlefield site here in N.W. Arkansas. Most of these are common types, worth a buck or two apiece as historic souvenirs. Some of the rarer types, like the Cosmopolitan Type-II can bring upward of $600 each for nice drops (non-fired) examples.
